Welcome to the Junior FIRST LEGO
League of Maryland!
The Maryland Junior FIRST LEGO Expo is an
exciting opportunity for the young scientists of
Maryland to showcase what they've learned in the areas
of science and technology - and specifically as it
relates to alternative energy!
If you've got budding engineers from 4-9 then Jr.FLL is the
place for them. The program provides motivation, excitement and
real engineering experience.
With the introduction of the LEGO WeDo system, many of the
programming features of FLL and FTC are now accessible to the
youngest of engineers.
The LEGO Education WeDo platform, powered by LabVIEW,
redefines classroom robotics, making it possible for primary
school students ages 7 to 11 to build and program their own
solutions. LEGO Education WeDo provides a hands-on learning
experience that actively engages children’s creative thinking,
teamwork, and problem-solving skills. The WeDo environment is
programmed with simple, drag-and-drop software created in
LabVIEW! Now, engineers of all ages can experience the power and
ease of use of LabVIEW.
